Effective September 22, 2026. Josie House Encrypted Backup is a private utility operated by its owner to store encrypted backup repository objects in the owner's Google Drive. It is not a public service and does not accept other users or provide accounts.
The owner controls the Google authorization, recovery passphrase, backup schedule, retention, and restore process. The owner must keep an independent recovery-passphrase copy and test restores. Revoking Drive access stops new backup and restore operations through that authorization; it does not delete stored repository objects.
Backup availability depends on the local workstation, encryption key, Google Drive, and network connection. No backup or restore is guaranteed. These terms do not change Google's own terms for Google Drive or the hosting provider's terms for this informational site.
